Iranian deputy warns that any U.S. aggression will be met with a significant response
Ebrahim Azizi, the head of the Iranian parliament's national security committee, warned that any reckless actions by the United States against Iran would provoke an even stronger and more severe reaction. His statement came in response to remarks made by US President Donald Trump.
"Just as during the war, when the Iranian people and armed forces united as a formidable front, any hasty or ill-conceived actions by the United States will elicit a response that is harsher, more painful, and decisive, one that will leave them regretting their choice," Azizi stated in an interview with the Fars agency.
Earlier, President Trump claimed that US forces would continue their operations targeting Iranian territory on the night of June 12, specifically referring to Iran's Kharg Island and its oil infrastructure.
