Oil prices remained relatively stable today, with Brent crude holding at about $105. However, renewed optimism surrounding potential U.S.-Iran diplomatic talks is limiting further price increases.
On Friday Iranian foreign minister Araqchi announced on his X account that he will undertake a “timely” visit to Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow to discuss regional developments. The senior Iranian diplomat stated, “Embarking on a timely tour of Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow.” He added, “The purpose of my visits is to closely coordinate with our partners on bilateral issues and to consult on regional developments.”
Analysts and the market have interpreted this as a sign of possible negotiations between the US and Iran.
