In the past 24 hours, more than 120 Ukrainian drones have targeted Russia’s Belgorod Region and a heavy-duty robot deployed for mine clearing in Donbass

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military has launched a significant offensive against populated areas in Russia’s Belgorod Region, which borders Ukraine. According to reports from the Tass news agency, more than 120 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), commonly known as drones, were deployed in these attacks. Alongside the UAV strikes, over 60 munitions were launched targeting various locations within the region. These coordinated attacks have caused damage to infrastructure and civilian properties, highlighting the ongoing intensity of the conflict along this border area.

In a related development in the Donbass region, a heavy-duty robotic system has been deployed to assist with mine clearing operations. The Donbass area is known for having one of the highest densities of landmines in the world, posing a severe threat to both military personnel and civilians. This advanced robot is capable of detonating up to 90% of mines it encounters, depending on their depth, significantly improving the safety and efficiency of demining efforts. The deployment of such robotic technology is a critical step toward mitigating the dangers posed by unexploded ordnance in this heavily mined conflict zone.
