The Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) officially launched its new X social media account on Monday ( https://x.com/PGSA_IRAN), marking the beginning of a dedicated platform to deliver timely and accurate information regarding activities and developments in the Strait of Hormuz. The PGSA announced that the account will serve as a vital communication channel, providing continuous real-time updates on operations within this strategically important waterway.
Iran had earlier implemented a new maritime system designed to improve the safety and management of vessel traffic passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Under this new system, all ships intending to navigate the Strait are required to receive an official email from the PGSA.
