Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon Kill 89 and Injure Hundreds, Including Medics, Health Ministry Reports

In a devastating escalation of violence, Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon, have resulted in significant casualties, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry. A spokesperson for the ministry informed Reuters that the attacks have claimed the lives of 89 people, described as “martyrs,” and left approximately 700 others wounded.

The strikes, which targeted multiple residential and hospitals locations across southern Lebanon, have caused widespread destruction and panic among the civilian population. Among the dead are 12 medics who were reportedly killed while providing emergency medical assistance, highlighting the severe impact on healthcare workers and the critical infrastructure in the region.
