Trump Warns U.S. Will Bomb Iranian Bridges and Power Plants if Ships Attacked in Hormuz; Iran Vows Reciprocal Strikes on All U.S. Infrastructure in Middle East
US President Donald Trump declared that the United States would destroy a bridge or power plant in Iran each time Iran targets a ship in the Strait of Hormuz stated that the method of attack—whether by missile, rocket, or drone—does not matter; the US will "bomb and destroy" a bridge or power plant near Tehran, Iran's capital.
"From this point forward, any time the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at a ship in of Hormuz, whether it be by Missile, Rocket, Drone, or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT, including those located next to, or in, the Capital City of Tehran," Trump wrote on X.

In response, Iran IRGC said that it will carry out reciprocal strikes on US infrastructure in the Middle East if the US attacks bridges or power plants on Iranian territory, according to a source cited by the Tasnim news agency.
"Should Americans strike a bridge or a power plant in Iran, Tehran in response will strike infrastructure and bridges in the region, including energy sites with the participation of the US," the source said.
The source added that Iran has recently demonstrated its ability to strike any target in the Middle East, warning that "Trump’s another reckless move will once again become his shame."
