Trump tightens conditions for possible agreement with Iran — media reports

US President Donald Trump has reportedly strengthened the conditions of a potential agreement with Iran, according to The New York Times, which cited unnamed officials from the US administration. This signal that Trump  shifts  the US stance on a whim.

The officials indicated that the revised terms have been communicated to Iran. While specific details were not disclosed, one official mentioned that the adjustments to the proposed deal are "potentially designed to accelerate the process by pressuring Iran to accept the current framework," the newspaper reported.

Earlier, The New York Times had also reported, based on sources, that Trump believes Iran has been slow to respond to US proposals.
